| I would like to share my experience with Country Places Realty. I live out of stat, south of Atlanta, GA. Not knowing the area well in Marshall, I looked up real estate agents through the internet. I e-mailed several agents stating that I had 11.2 acres of mountain property that I was very interested in selling and would like feedback on what the property in that area was selling for. Kathy Hendricks called me immediately and after walking with her (herself doing a lot of research on her end) I quickly listed the property with Country Places Realty.
The property was listed in local books and on her website. Kathy was very professional and went out of her way in helping me with obtaining a local surveyor there, and having the property surveyed. Again, she took the time to have the survey recorded for me. After a year of hard work, Kathy obtained a contract on the property. I never had to step foot into her office. Everything was handled over the phone and through the mail. A local attorney handled the closing in my behalf, and it went very smoothly. Being from out-of-town, I was very impressed on how professionally this sale was carried out and the manner in which Country Places Realty participated in the transaction. I recently have begun the process of house hunting and can relate to your love of Madison County. I have been living in Walnut for the last four years and notice your signs everywhere. I look forward to meeting you when my search becomes more formal as I have seen that you do represent many of the homes that have caught my curiosity. I think that it is wonderful that you represent yourself not only as a woman business owner, but also as successfully living alternatively, respecting the land you love. Having worked in the natural foods business for twelve years, I share much of the same philosophy you reflected in your advertisement.
